For my Analysis Final I have decided to choose the material that me and another class-mate worked on and wrote about it. This was originally a motif score that we worked on but I chose to write about this because it gives identity to my dance background and dance interest.

Some of the choreography is from a previous show that me and my classmate were working on together for the faculty concert. This dance based on African Diaspora movement as well as hip=hop. I have been training in West African dance for almost 9 years and a lot of my dance work includes either African Dance and or hip-hop. This is because both dance forms show so much similarity. I want this video to reflect on my character as well as me as a dancer. I was not raised in a studio nor did I have a lot of  ballet training. I want this video to reflect where I came from.
